Alma Llamas, LcSW

Bilingual Psychotherapist

As a first-generation Latina, I understand the importance of finding someone who can understand and validate your culture, “Tus Raices”, “Tus Valores”. I also understand the importance of providing culturally competent therapy, which is why I have developed an affinity for tailoring therapeutic approaches to address the societal issues impacting the Latino community.

Throughout my career, I have integrated evidence-based treatment such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Techniques, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focus (SF), and Structural Family Therapy to treat anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma, PTSD, grief, and difficult life transitions.

An underlying goal in my approaches is to foster a supportive environment for patients to feel heard, validated, supported, and challenged. If you are ready to share your story and embark on a transformative journey of healing and personal growth, I am committed to supporting you in navigating life’s challenges. Let’s work towards a fulfilling, meaningful life together.
